Asbestos/Lead/Biological Contaminates Sampling/Monitoring
We provide a broad range of services that range from training, monitoring, inspections to sampling for asbestos, lead, biological contaminates and various chemicals. Additionally, our services are turn-key and performed by experienced, knowledgeable and trained personnel with rapid turnaround time for reporting.
Asbestos Air Monitoring
ENCOS’s monitoring and data collection capabilities are technologically advanced and quality assured. The use of battery operated pumps (Sensidyne BDX-II) for air monitoring has allowed us to expand our services to include industrial clients. All PCM cassettes are analyzed using the NIOSH 7400 method, and all TEM cassettes are analyzed using the NIOSH 7402 method.
Lead Awareness Training
All ENCOS Industrial Hygiene Technicians (IHT’s) are required to complete a lead awareness training course provided by our knowledgeable trainers. The course identifies the health effects of lead, proper air monitoring techniques, bulk sampling (dust, paint chips, wipes), etc. Our training will include: classroom, hands-on, and regulatory training (OSHA, EPA, LDEQ) followed by a comprehensive test.
Lead Air Monitoring
Our lead air monitoring is conducted in accordance with LDEQ, EPA and OSHA regulations. ENCOS uses a selection of high volume and personal pumps to complete each lead personnel and area monitoring job. Each 37 mm MCE air sampling cassettes will be analyzed using the NIOSH 7082 method. A detailed report will be provided to the client after completion of each job.
Lead Inspection
Lead Surveys are conducted in accordance with the individual client’s needs. Each project is unique and requires specific sampling needs. We offer paint chip collection, surface wipes, soil sampling, wastewater sampling, dust collection, etc. Every survey is conducted by a well-trained employee and completed with a detailed report.
