Our comprehensive review of your safety program and/or personnel exposure monitoring is conducted by trained, qualified personnel and designed to meet your specific client needs while staying in compliance with applicable regulations with a rapid turnaround time for reporting., surveys, audits and personnel exposure monitoring are all part of our Safety and Industrial Hygiene.

Industrial Hygiene Monitoring

Industrial Hygiene (IH) Services focus on protecting employees:  Reduce the risk of injury or illnesses to employees from chemical and physical hazards, be compliant with OSHA regulations and industry standards, reduce liability and increase productivity. Experienced IH Technicians under the supervision of a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) conduct field services in industrial settings with strategic monitoring of affected work areas or on individual personnel to obtain the data. Samples are collected and submitted to analytical labs via chain-of-custody as per client request and project scope.  Detailed observation records and logs are maintained for all client operations. IH Services include but are not limited to:

  • IH personnel monitoring
    • Dusts and Particulate Matter (PM)
    • H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide)
    • Noise (Industrial Sound Surveys)
    • Electromagnetic Frequency (EMF)
    • Organic Vapor Monitoring

 

  • Comprehensive chemical exposure monitoring
    • Chemical gases, vapors, dusts, mists, or fumes can be harmful through inhalation, ingestion or skin absorption
  • Chemical hazards monitoring
    • welding fume (including hexavalent chromium)
    • solvents (including benzene)
    • particulates (including respirable crystalline silica)

 

Other related services include Ventilation surveys (laboratory hoods and ventilation system performance), Radiation surveys and permit required wipe tests, Indoor Air Quality (mold, asbestos, lead), Safety Data Sheets, and Training.  Program evaluations and development for Respiratory Protection, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, and Laboratory Chemical Hygiene Plans.
